Former winner of the 'Young Scottish Musician of the Year' and a member of the Humphrey Lyttelton band, Jo Fooks is a wonderful tenor saxophonist whose mellow tone is often compared to Stan Getz and Zoot Simms.
Jo is joined by the fabulous hard-swinging pianist JOHN PEARCE, who’s career has taken him all over the world playing with such jazz royalty as Anita O’Day, Peggy Lee, Mark Murphy, Dick Morrisey, Art Farmer, Woody Shaw, Warren Vache, Ronnie Scott… the list is endless! And Guildford Jazz anchor Marianne Windham completes the lline-up on double bass.
The lunchtime jazz is held in the Cafe at the Guildford Institute, which boasts a baby grand piano as well as delicious food. Food is served from 12 to 2pm, followed by live jazz performance from 2pm to 3pm
