EVENT INFO

Doors open 7pm | Support 7.45pm, Main act from 9pm

Expect lots of slide-guitar, a driving rhythm section & Golding’s trade-mark, hard-hitting tenor sound.

Binker will be playing music from his second album “Dream like a Dogwood wild boy” last year. With songs that sound like the wide-open landscapes of mid-western America, “Dogwood” is an album that has the blues, Americana, heart-land rock & whiskey running through its veins. It’s a work full of optimism & warmth which reflects on the passing of time, ageing, adulthood, love & death. It’s a road trip with a destination a thousand miles away.

Binker is also known for working with a wide range of other acts including Mr. Jukes, Zara McFarlane, the Elliot Galvin & a trio with John Edwards & Steve Noble. An evening not to be missed.

Myra will include songs from her recently recorded debut album, to be released later this year. Already busy in the UK jazz scene, Myra's recent performances include Ronnie Scott’s and 606 Club, performing the music of Thelonious Monk with a stellar band selected by Tony Kofi and a commission for Hull Jazz Festival.
