Latin Jazz at Loseley Park

Join us for an evening at Loseley of rhythm and colour!

Salsa, Samba and Tango rhythms have always been a source of inspiration for Jazz musicians and Steve Watermans’ passion and knowledge of these art forms will take us on a journey through Latin America. The concert will feature music from Cuba, Brazil and Argentina with pieces from composers Paquito D’Rivera, Astor Piazzolla, Antônio Carlos Jobin as well as Latin influenced pieces by jazz composers Horace Silver and Steve Swallow and many others

Come rain or shine, this is always a fabulous event! Enjoy outstanding musicianship in the relaxed atmosphere of this most beautiful of settings, raising money for GUTS, fighting bowel cancer.

The evening will open with a set of fantastic big band swing from our friends in the wonderful FARNHAM BIG BAND.

Guests are welcome to bring picnics, rugs and chairs and garden gazebos as necessary. The garden kiosk will be open where refreshments, including alcohol, will be available

The address Loseley Park, Guildford GU3 1HS

Directions: take the B3000 New Pond Road and the main entrance is in Stakescorner Road, signposted ‘Loseley House’ on a brown sign. The turning to the Loseley estate is then on the left after a few hundred yards.
