The story of the life and career of the legendary rhythm and blues musician Ray Charles, from his humble beginnings in the South, where he went blind at age seven, to his meteoric rise to stardom during the 1950s and 1960s. The film won 2 Academy awards in 2005 – a Best Actor for Jamie Foxx and one for Best Sound Mixing and 4 other nominations.

DIRECTIONS

Car parking is available at the rear of the Waverley Borough Council Offices (behind the Borough Hall) or in Crown Court parking lot – both are free from 6:30 pm onwards.  It is not recommended that you park at the Library or Waitrose as they both have restrictions on parking and are monitored by 3rd party companies.

SEATING

The seating is partly tiered (140 seats) for a maximum capacity of ca. 200.

There are facilities for disabled access and we can accommodate wheelchair users.
