The Sarah Jane Eveleigh Quintet featuring sensational jazz trumpeter Martin Shaw and pianist Alex Hutton will perform their Great Ladies of Jazz show with tributes to Ella Fitzgerald, Berry Carter, Sara Vaughan, Shirley Horn and many more.
You will be welcomed with a complementary glass of award-winning vintage Cuvee from High Clandon Estate Vineyard. You can then explore the stunning surrounding before settling down to enjoy the music.
Early bird tickets are £40 per person with all proceeds supporting the children and families who rely on Cherry Trees.

Make the most of your time in the glorious surroundings by rustling up your own delicious picnic to enjoy before the Jazz. Feel free to make your picnic as lavish or simple as you choose with drinks of your choice. This year there is also an option to treat yourself to a freshly baked wood-fired pizza from our high-quality pizza vendor. From classic favourites to gourmet specialties, their pizzas promise to be a tasty highlight of the evening! We will also have 110ml tubs of local maker Gray's Gelato available on the day or for pre-order.
You’ll be served your complimentary glass of Cuvée on arrival. Additional glasses can be purchased from the High Clandon bar that will be open throughout the evening.
You're welcome to bring anything else you may need to make your evening comfortable, such as tables, chairs, blankets and cushions. Only thing we ask is please not to bring any barbeques or open flames for safety reasons.
Upgrade Your Experience
Add that little bit extra to your evening and pre-book one of our cabaret-style seats. Chairs are £10 per person and will be spread around shared tables. You can also pre-order a tub ice cream for the interval from local maker Gray's Gelato. Tubs are just £3.50 per tub and you can choose from a range of flavours. You can add these to your booking when purchasing your tickets below.

Cherry Trees are introducing a new corporate or group booking option for 2026. This will see you secure entry, a cabaret style seat in our own designated area, a second glass of Cuvee, half a pizza and an ice cream for each attendee. You can also pre-order additional pizza or Cuvee to suit. This is for a minimum of 8 people and costs just £60 per person. Whether you use this as a group or business social, to entertain clients, or with friends, this is the perfect way to get together, enjoy world class jazz, and support an outstanding cause. WHO'S PLAYING?
SARAH JANE EVELEIGH
Originally from Manchester, jazz vocalist and songwriter Sarah Jane Eveleigh moved to the south of England to study a diploma in performing arts. Since then, she’s developed her stage craft playing her own compositions in venues across London and the Southeast, as well as working as a singer in bands for high-end private events. Respected for her passionate delivery and interpretations of jazz standards, Sarah is a gifted storyteller who brings a level of style, accuracy and class to her performance
MARTIN SHAW
A well established and highly regarded studio and touring musician, Martin's powerful yet wonderfully fluent playing has been heard with the likes of Sting, Natalie Cole, John Dankworth and Cleo Laine and he is a first call for numerous high profile musicians both in the UK and abroad.
A featured soloist with the BBC Big Band, his melodic improvisations and warm, fluid sound are universally admired and respected.
ALEX HUTTON
Pianist Alex Hutton is one of the UK Jazz’s hidden treasures. A fine composer, and an inventive jazz musician, he is a gifted, thoughtful improviser and a mainstay of the London Jazz scene, working with the leading figures from Jim Mullen and Pete King to Pete Wareham.

MARIANNE WINDHAM
The founder and driving force behind Guildford Jazz, Marianne is a distinctive presence on bass. Since becoming a full time musician 15 years ago, she has become a respected and in demand player and performs regularly at leading jazz venues and Festivals across the UK. Awarded the Services to Jazz Award in the 2025 Parliamentary Jazz Awards for outstanding contribution to jazz in the UK, Marianne is also the founder and chair of the Cheryl King Trust which helps fund music lessons for low income families.

Andrew is a professional drummer and drum tutor, who has played with numerous artists and bands nationally and locally.
